PSTET Application Form 2018: Punjab TET Online Application Form - Free Registration

PSTET Application Form 2018 will be released by the Department of School Education- Govt Of Punjab, so whoever is interested will able to apply. You need to apply online and no offline application will be entertained by the PSTET. So, the candidates are adviced that if they don’t want their application doesn’t get rejected, only apply online. Before filing the application candidates are advised to cross-check with the eligibility criteria and see they match up with same, so they don’t face any sort of inconvenience. This article provides insight into the requirement of candidate while filing PSTET application form.

PSTET Application Form 2018

The Application Process will start soon on the official website. Candidates can register themselves as soon as the form will be available on the official page. Candidates are advised to fill the application form before the last date. Check the eligibility criteria before applying for PSET 2018.

PSTET Important Dates

  • PSTET 2018 registration Starts: February 2018
  • The application process ends on: February 2018
  • Correction in Application Form: End of February 2018
  • The date for issue Admit Card: March 2018
  • Examination Date: March 2018
  • PSTET Result: May 2018

How To Fill The PSTET Application Form

  • Firstly the candidate has to register with the above-provided registration link.
  • After this step, the candidate needs to click on proceed option and page like the below will open and candidate need to fill all details to move forward.
  • Now the candidate has to click on the option of register me, and a new window will be opened that will have the login details, the candidate need to keep the details safe for further use.
  • After registration has been a new login page will be opened, where the candidate has entered their login details.

  • After Login, the candidate needs to fill the general details like parents name, gender, email id etc.
  • After filling all the details a page with upload signature and photo will come like below, here upload your sign and photo

  • After filling up the application form a new window will open for payment, where the candidate has to pay their application fees (through Challan) For general B.C. category Rs, 500, For SC/ST category and Differently Abled candidates Rs. 300/- and For Ex-serviceman (Self) – NIL
  • As the fees will be submitted, the application form will also be finished.

Application Procedure Online Registration (Step-I)

  • Candidates who are eligible shall apply on-line for the PSTET-I or PSTET-II or both through the website
  • To ensure the accuracy of information, candidates are advised to carry all the credentials, scanned photograph and signature while applying online.
  • Candidates, interested in both PSTET-I & PSTET-II, do not need to apply separately. A single registration would suffice.
  • Candidates are suggested to fill the information very carefully because post-registration editing is not allowed.

Uploading Photo and Signature (Step-II)

  • Candidates are supposed to upload their recent colored passport size photograph and signature on the panel to accomplish the registration process successfully.
  • Printing of the confirmation page is possible only after uploading the photograph and signature. The size of both MUST be less than 1MB.

Payment of Fee (Step-III)

  • After the registration is done successfully, candidates are allowed to deposit the fee from the three available payment modes viz.: below:
  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Any Master/Visa Credit/Debit Card can be used to pay the fee.
  • Net Banking
  • The net-banking option can also be used to deposit the fee.
  • Printing of Bank Challan
  • Candidates can pay the fee through bank challan as well.

Confirmation of Examination Fee (Step-IV)

The fee status will be updated in candidate’s login only after 48 hours of deposition of fee in the bank. Candidates can then log-in their accounts on and proceed for printing of confirmation page.

Confirmation Page (Step-V)

Candidates must put their signatures at the specified place of the confirmation page. Confirmation Page must be kept as a reference for future correspondence.

Selection Procedure for PSTET

Punjab TET Exam consists of two Papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. Both papers contain 150 Objective type questions respectively with 1 mark each. Total marks are 150 for each.

Punjab TET Paper-ICandidates who aspire for teaching positions from Class I to V in Punjab Primary School.

Punjab TET Paper-IICandidates who aspire for teaching positions from Class VI to VIII in Punjab Upper Primary School.

Candidates who aspire for teaching positions right from primary level to upper primary level i.e. from Class I to VIII MUST pass both the papers.

Application Fees for PSTET

  • In case the candidates wish to apply for either Paper I or Paper II, they are required to pay an application fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ ST Category/ Differently Abled candidates)
  • In case the candidates wish to apply for both Paper I or Paper II, they are required to pay an application fee of Rs.1200/- (Rs.600/- for SC/ ST Category/ Differently Abled candidates)
  • The fee can be paid through Challan or Credit/Debit Card. Ex-Servicemen Self-only candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
